A new bakery is opening up in the neighborhood, so advertising will lead a lot of people to their website. What they see first is the most important, so it has to deliver on what information most people are looking for.
A majority of people will go to a bakery’s website to see their hours or location, so this is placed on the home page. The other reason is to see their menu, but this is a lot of content so there is a link to that right at the top.

Since the bakery is new, many people could be curious as to who is opening the bakery and how it all started. This information is more secondary compared to some of the information on this website, so this doesn’t need to be on the home page.

Majority of the people coming to the website will be looking to see what types of foods the bakery will be serving and how much they will cost so this information is very important. It’s most likely going to be the most clicked on link from the home page (or in a search).

The bakery will want users to have the ability to contact them, both a phone number or a contact form. This bakery will be able to accept custom orders such as baked goods for a business meeting, so having the form will help get orders in the door.
